Saying goodbye at the crematorium

You will need to consider if you would like to visit the pet crematorium to say your farewell. If you wish to do this, be sure to inform your vet and the crematorium of your wishes.

The crematorium will have a private space for you to say goodbye and where you may decide to view your pet’s body prior to cremation. Alternatively, you may choose to sit and wait while the individual cremation takes place.

If you choose to say goodbye at the crematorium, on the day, the crematorium will provide you with comfort and support.

By prior arrangement, you could consider taking a few small items to display in the farewell room such as flowers and photographs or may wish to play some peaceful music. Rest assured your pet crematorium will guide you through all of the options available to help you make this personal.

After the individual cremation you will be able to take the ashes of your pet home with you.
