Choosing the final resting place for your precious companion can be difficult. You can trust us to carry out a sensitive burial service for your pet and support you from the very first phone call. You are welcome to contact us before the time to make arrangements for your pet’s burial and reserve a plot in our pet cemetery, or contact us when the time comes and we can collect your companion from your home or veterinary practice.
Say Goodbye in our Remembrance Room
Your pet will be gently prepared and laid in our Remembrance Room, placed in a silk-lined coffin with their own engraved name-plate, for family and friends to say their final goodbyes. You are welcome to place special items in their coffin, such as toys, blankets, photographs or written letters to be buried alongside your pet.
Single Plot
An individual burial plot in our pet cemetery where your treasured friend will be gently laid to rest. You are welcome to mark your pet’s burial plot with a headstone or other memorials.
Family Plots
You may wish keep your beloved pets together in our cemetery and consider a family plot. This option means that any other pet companions in your family can be buried together.
Burials at Rossendale Pet Cemetery
Our historic cemetery in the beautiful Rossendale Valley is able to offer human, small animal and equine burial plots. This offers a unique choice should you wish to make the deeply personal decision to be buried alongside your life-long friends. Rossendale Pet Cemetery are able to work with your funeral director to make these arrangements and ensure your final wishes are carried out.
Ways to Remember
We have a list of trusted local stonemasons, who are able to craft a beautiful and long-lasting headstone to mark your pet’s final resting place.
Before your pet’s burial service, you may wish to request a paw print impression of your pet’s paw or a fur keepsake to treasure your companion’s memory. You also have the option to place a memorial keepsake on your pet’s burial plot.
